American Sign Language in North America

American Sign Language (ASL) is not only used by the United States but is also utilized in many other countries, such as Canada. Joel Barish explains a detailed organizational system for identifying different ASL dialects across America.   • Makes sense. I’m shocked Canada hasn’t made America(n) Sign Language the official language of the Deaf people there. Some of the smaller poorer countries have already recognized their Deaf people’s sign language as their official language. You would think liberal Trudea would have done it already. Many Deaf there like him.
