    Hi Joel…

Kudos to you for reaching out in the Chinese deaf community and learning about their culture. I enjoyed your video about your visit with a deaf farmer who is running a pig farm in China. This would be a good science lesson for our young deaf students who may think of farming as their future vocation.

I hope you continue to travel and collect information about the deaf from other parts of the world.

    Best wishes…
    Irene

You sure have a fantastic journey to see many deaf around the world! Champ! You look marvelous with the mask on! I wonder if you are smiling or not! Grins… It is really HARD to see pigs being stuck inside the cement building and the mommies are in small dens all day. Good thing I never eat pork! Feel so bad for them.
Beside that, keep up finding wonderful deafies around the world!
    Missy

That is not a “farm”. It is a factory. Those poor animals never see grass or the sun. They live in that ugly atmosphere from birth to death. Remember that next time you eat pork (or veal).

Wow – really interesting! I’m glad you created this video. I’m sure it was fun experience for you. I do have one pondering question – why were some of the pigs ears imperfect triangle shape? Looks like bite marks on the ears. Is it according to breed kind or health issue or generation of ear deformation or ??? Again, I really enjoy your videos – always learning daily in life!!

Hi guys! Their farm is one of the top quality in Taiwan. I’m so proud of Deaf owner running this kind of business. They were fed very well with best food. they didn’t face any bad virus past years. They didn’t cut any pig ears. I was glad that I put mask on since smell was so terrible! I do have respect for that Deaf owner since he could make a good living in Taiwan as a Deaf person. :)

Yes Deaf people can do anything, but hear. If you happen to visit in Georgia, I recommend you to visit a deaf farmer who own a chicken farm. All of the chickens go to a Chick Fil A Company!

Also we have a deaf man who is a vice president of a company in South Georgia. He and his brother have a contract with U.S. Government.

    Thanks for the video tour!

Hey Joel, I enjoyed you telling us through your video and I want to share you a little that I compared what I have watched on US channel to our America’s farms.
Pork and chicken are very rich protein source, Americans are very definitely eating bacon with various meals and I do love them too, because they are very delicious. AA is important to human’s body in necessary to consume with vegetables and fruits. Last year, after I watched natural on American’s channel about pig farm, I then started avoid eating them. I definitely Taiwan did great job with pig farm. I wish our government must place their eyes closer on our farms to make sure US meat must not have anything like hormone in it or America’s future healthy become more issues people.
Enjoy your great travel and earn your rich experience in various cultures,
